How to Survive the Afternoon Slump

We’ve all been there. The afternoon hits, and suddenly all energy is just gone. You consider a coffee just to get your pep back, but then you’ll be up all night. A nap sounds good, but you’ve got a million things to do. The dreaded afternoon slump has arrived. So what can you do? You need to stay productive, after all.

Take a Break

If you’ve been sitting all day, it’s time to get up and move. Go for a brisk walk, get some fresh air, or even just do a few squats and stretches beside your desk. Getting your body moving and blood pumping can help revitalize you for the rest of the day. In fact, try to take short breaks every hour to ward off the afternoon crash completely.

Meditate

Eat a Snack
